End of Life Care

This module presents the principles and related skills for nurses providing end of life care, which refers to the care provided to patients who are nearing the end of their lives due to a terminal illness or other medical condition. The goal of end-of-life care is to provide comfort, support, and dignity to patients and their families during this difficult time. End-of-life care is a multidisciplinary approach that involves healthcare providers from various disciplines, including nursing, medicine, social work, and pastoral care. The focus of end-of-life care is on addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient and their family members.
